Rent is $200 per week, in addition to an accommodation cost of $79.45 per week. The accommodation cost covers essential services and supplies, including: Cleaning products to maintain the living space Yard maintenance to ensure a tidy outdoor area Water, gas, and electricity for daily needs (with the caveat that any excessive use may incur additional charges) Internet access for your convenience (reasonable usage included; excess usage may result in extra fees) This arrangement ensures that your basic living needs are met, with clear boundaries around what’s included and any potential additional costs if usage exceeds normal limits.

You have a couple of options for managing your grocery shopping, depending on your preferences:

Shopping with Staff During Community Access Shifts: You can personally do your grocery shopping with the support of your staff during your Community Access shifts. This allows you to actively choose the items you need and enjoy the process of shopping in-store.

Online Grocery Shopping with Service Coordinator: If you prefer, your service coordinator can handle the grocery shopping for you online. To make this as personalised as possible, you’ll work with your staff beforehand to plan your meals and create a shopping list. Once your meal plan and list are ready, the service coordinator will place your order on your behalf.

Groceries are ordered fortnightly, with a budget of up to $189 for each order. This ensures that all your essentials are covered while giving you the flexibility to choose how involved you’d like to be in the process.

Yes, having a pet is possible, but it requires a formal discussion and approval process. To proceed, you will need to submit a pet application. The approval is contingent on the agreement of all involved stakeholders, including HelpAlong and any co-tenants (if applicable). This process ensures that everyone’s needs and preferences are taken into account, maintaining a comfortable and harmonious living environment for all participants.

Our homes have varying policies regarding smoking. Some properties have a strict no-smoking policy in place, while others permit smoking within a designated smoking zone. For homes where smoking is allowed, it is important to note that smoking is only permitted in specified outdoor areas. To ensure the comfort and respect of co-tenants, smoking must not occur near any open doors or windows. This policy is in place to maintain a pleasant living environment for everyone.

Yes, visitors are welcome from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If you need to make any changes to these visiting hours, please discuss it with your service coordinator, who can help accommodate your needs.
